Follow the water
Water moves through a system, and so does our work. Scroll the line from the river gate to the service bay — each stage is something we design, fabricate, install and keep running.
STAGE 01 — HOLD
Steel gate panels held up by inflatable air bladders. Change the air pressure and the crest moves — so a river keeps a steady level in the dry season and passes a flood in the wet.
STAGE 02 — SCREEN
Back-rake, chain-rake, wire-rope, trash-rake and rotary screens strip out the solids and debris a river or sewer carries — before they reach pumps, valves and treatment.
STAGE 03 — LIFT
An open screw turning in a trough. No collection sump, minimal inlet head, and gentle handling of biological floc — the oldest pump design, engineered for modern plants.
STAGE 04 — CONVEY
A cold-formed spiral with no centre shaft and no intermediate bearings — so wet pulp, screenings and sticky sludge move in a fully enclosed, quiet, odour-free trough.
STAGE 05 — DEWATER
Dewatering zones, screw presses and washers that pull the water back out of screenings and sludge — less volume to haul, less to dispose of.
STAGE 06 — SUSTAIN
Scheduled maintenance and inspections, spare parts and system upgrades, and rapid-response technical support — from the people who built it.

An Obermeyer gate is a steel panel resting on an air bladder. The river pushes it down; the bladder pushes it up. Set the inflow, pick a real site from our register, and watch the gate find its level — or lie flat to let a flood through.
Simulation for illustration. Discharge uses a standard weir relation (Q = C·L·H1.5, C ≈ 1.8); pressures are relative. Real gates are designed by Obermeyer Hydro and sized per site.
